7) Stylized Face & Body Makeup

This was possibly the most frustrating of the makeups, let me tell you. It was also the most altered between the two days, but man it improved. So initially I free-drew the black lines making up Glados' face, but quickly shifted over to using the ruler I keep in my backpack to draw the lines of her face, quite successfully I thought. Also streamlining the design was a wonderful decision. That said, special note here, using cheap halloween gray was the worst idea ever. It refused to mix or to blend. So, while adding a sheen of white to the outside of the face and mixing the halloween white into the center 'panel' of the face seemed like an easy thing, it was not. The final effect was achieved by using the white creme makeup as a foundation layer and then dabbing the halloween makeup over it.

Simple side-note, using a dab of the gray, I hinted at basic corrective on the unadorned side of her face. It was a small thing, but it added a lot of dynamics to the final product, I thought.
