Jumping into this makeup was a nightmare, being sick for both the practice and the lecture day. Huzzah food poisoning! That said, damn, I think these turned out really well. Go me. The bruise was the hardest, seeing as the colors refused to mix right. I'm still not sure what I was doing wrong to achieve that effect, but fortunately it ultimately worked out.
Blending the latex and clay to Cassie's natural skin tone was a nightmare, but I think that's simply the effect of clay. There's no living with it and no living without it.
The rash was fun, although it was the one I went too far on, creating at first ... a blobby black sketch. It turns out it required more finesse than initially expected with the scrapy sponge. Skipping the bottom of the jaw really added to the effect though.
